Fitness to Dive Consultations: About Us

I am a board certified emergency medicine physician and an avid scuba diver. As a certified dive physician and an Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Fitness to Dive Examiner, I conduct scuba diving medical evaluations for recreational divers training with local dive shops and referrals from Diver’s Alert Network (DAN) in Kentucky and Indiana. With my extensive experience in both private and federal healthcare systems, I offer a diverse background in disaster response, tactical medicine, and international service, providing essential diver's medical consultations.

At Scuba Medical Release, we provide expert assistance in completing the dive medical form for new divers or those returning to training classes. Our services include diver's medical consultations and scuba diving medical evaluations, particularly for divers preparing to return after medical events such as decompression illness or surgeries. We also support individuals who have experienced changes in their medical history and conditions, working closely with certified dive physicians to ensure safety in diving.
